Paul has pretty much mastered the art of fire-making by now. He has made fires in regular fireplaces, fireplace inserts and wood stoves. He spends quite a lot of time cutting kindling and wood and is content to do so.
We have also learned how to dress for the cold. Every morning before the woodstove warms up we now know how to stay toasty and warm.
What a change from a downtown apartment in Vancouver.
